What devices is the mophie charge stream desk stand compatible with?

The charge stream desk stand will wirelessly charge Samsung and Apple Qi-compatible smartphones, mophie cases with wireless charging, and other smartphones with Qi wireless technology.

Will the charge stream desk stand fast-charge my device?

The charge stream desk stand is optimized to fast-charge compatible Apple and Samsung smartphones. For a faster charge the desk stand will deliver up to 7.5W of power to compatible Apple smartphones and up to 10W of power to compatible Samsung smartphones. mophie cases with wireless charging and other Qi-compatible smartphones will charge at the standard Qi charging power of up to 5W.

How do I wirelessly charge my device?

After you assemble the charge stream desk stand according to the instructions in the quick-start guide, simply place your wireless device against the desk stands charging pad, making sure that the center of the wireless device is aligned with the center of the charging pads charging surface. Charging will begin on contact. You can adjust the height of the charging pad to fit just about any Qi-compatible smartphone in either portrait or landscape orientation.

Can I use my smartphone while its charging?

You bet! The charge stream desk stand holds your phone at a convenient angle in either portrait or landscape orientation. Your phone remains fully functional while it charges so you have access to all your favorite features.

Will the charge stream desk stand charge my smartphone while its inside of a case?

That depends on the design of the case. The charge stream desk stand will charge a smartphone while its inside of any mophie case with wireless charging. For third-party cases, if the case is simply a protective case and its back panel is no thicker than 3mm, wireless charging should work fine. However, if the back panel is thicker, or if the case contains metal, it may prevent the smartphone from wirelessly charging.

How securely does the charge stream desk stand hold my smartphone?

The charge stream desk stand features a weighted base and stainless-steel support arm that provide solid support. The desk stands charging pad has a rubberized, non-slip TPU coating that protects your device from scratches and provides a stable charging surface for your phone.

Can I remove the charging pad from the desk stand and use it flat on my desk?

Absolutely. You can slide the charging pad off of the desk stand base and use it flat against your desktop or tabletop. The charging pads rear surface is rubber coated, so it will stay put while you use it on its own.

I already have a USB wall adapter. Can I use it with the charge stream desk stand?

The supplied QC 2.0 wall adapter was designed specifically for the charge stream desk stand to ensure optimal performance. You can use a different QC 2.0 wall adapter, but the desk stand will not work with a wall adapter that is not QC 2.0.

What does the LED on the charging pad indicate?

LED illuminated continuously: The wireless device is properly charging. LED flashing: A metallic foreign object (keys, etc.) has been detected against the charging pads charging surface. Remove the object.

Is it OK to leave the charge stream desk stand plugged in when Im not using it?

Absolutely. The charge stream desk stand uses very little current in the standby mode, so it draws minimal power when its not being used. And while its charging your phone, built-in fail-safe circuitry prevents overcharging and controls temperature to prevent overheating.

The supplied micro USB cable has black, rectangular fitting on it. Whats that for?

The rectangular fitting is a wire management magnet. After you connect the USB cable to the charging pad and to the supplied wall adapter, the magnetized fitting will hold the cable to the desk stands metal arm, keeping your desktop neat.
